If you don’t want to use your car and discover the Gargano with the public transport, you can use the railway line or the bus service of “Ferrovie del Gargano”.
In a few more than one hour the railway line connect Peschici to San Severo, in a run that give suggestions and beautiful landscapes. Departing from the station of Calenella (6 Km from Peschici) and continuing along the shoreline of Rodi Garganico, among trees of citrus fruit and ancient villas. Leaving the coast later Rodi Garganico and pass at the rural scenery of Argo di Vico and Ischitella, up to the slopes of the historic center of Cagnano Varano and San Nicandro.
Finally the headland opens on the “Alto tavoliere” and over San Marco in Lamis we reach Apricena and the ultimate destination, San Severo.
